Anna Lamden, LCPC

Anna Lamden is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor. She holds dual master’s degrees in psychology and clinical counseling from National Louis University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Boston University. As part of her graduate work, Anna completed a one-year clinical internship in the Behavioral Health department at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Chicago. Additionally, Anna completed a two-year fellowship at the Chicago Center for Psychoanalysis and has post-graduate certifications in dialectical behavior therapy for chronically distressed clients and integrative psychotherapy for couples and families.

Prior to founding Locus Therapy Center, Anna spent several years providing psychotherapy and counseling services to adolescents and adults in a variety of settings. Her specialties include the treatment of individuals who struggle with eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and challenging interpersonal relationships.

Anna sits on the partnership board at Avenues to Independence and is a member of the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals, National Eating Disorder Association, Illinois Mental Health Counseling Association, Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance, American Counseling Association, and the Illinois Counseling Association.
